Mina Ma is an English teacher and writer. She writes short feminist literary fiction, and creative nonfiction that blends memoir and place writing. She is also a verbal storyteller; always has been and always will be.
She reads widely, and loves writing poetic prose, dipping into the uncanny and magical realism, and giving allies to her alienated female characters.
Mina spends her days immersed in literature, at work and at home. She also takes daily mindful walks with Agatha and Daphne (her sausage dogs), who love hearing her stories.
She is currently completing an MA in Creative Writing, focusing on metafiction and intertextuality in the short story.
